SENTINEL CAP annotated concept render — combination-lock drink cover on a pint glass

SENTINEL CAP

The problem: drink spiking is a persistent, high-visibility safety issue in pubs, bars, clubs and festivals. Patrons face a binary choice — stand over a drink all night or leave it exposed. Venues carry the reputational and duty-of-care cost either way.

The device: a palm-sized cover that drops over standard glassware and locks with a resettable 3-digit combination. A fixed Ø92mm housing carries an internal radial clamp — spinning the dial drives the lock onto the glass from the inside, sealing the drink until the owner returns and enters their code. Food-grade materials throughout, dishwasher safe, no keys, no app.

The business case: venues deploy them as a duty-of-care feature and a branded asset — the top plate carries venue, sponsor or brewery livery, turning a safety device into a merchandising surface. Low part count, standard food-safe ABS, modelled for venue-scale unit economics.
